This is Yvves, he checked us out on the boat the day we left.  We talked about the systems, the river markers, and where to and not to, tie up along the way.  BAsically we can tie up anywhere we want to as long as it is not marked NO ANCHORING.

and when we said, oh, so there are docks  we can just pull up and tie up too, he said there are some marinas along the way where we have to pay 16.00 per night, but we can stop anywhere else and drive stakes in the ground with a small sledge and tie up to them.  anywhere we want.  ha

think just like vampire stakes long, steel, and sharp. ha love this place.
