After 3 days in Paris we traveled by train to Joigny, the town where we get on the boat. We stayed at a very nice hotel ( La Rive Gauche) on the river and had a really nice meal. I do not have time to describe it here but the pictures will have to do. It was very creative. The Chef is trying to make a name for himself and I think he's been watching the Food Network Channel a LOT! The marina we took the boat from was right in front of us. We watched the houseboats go by all afternoon. It helped build the excitement.
