Oct 1st. Cinque Terre

Hello Anyone Who Is Following This.  We have been in Cinque Terre, NW part of Italy
for the last 4 days.  We leave tomorrow for Florence area and are supposed to have internet
connection there.  This is the first time i have been online in 10 days again.

All is well here.  It is very pretty, and very crowded.  it is sad to see the progression of tourism
here in this tiny little place.  But everyone is here for the same reason we are.  It is very beautiful
coastline and small towns.  I will add more later.

G & J are having a picnic lunch today in a town nearby.

N & K took off for a walk yesterday which turned out to be a full on straight uphill hike
and ended up on the trail for 3 hours not knowing how much farther it was going to be,  high up
the mountain and no way to get back but hike down. it was intense but they lived. (ha) 
but they were tired puppies when they got home last night.  We thought they were having a 3 hour
lunch in a cafe somewhere.  NOT!  Glad they made it before dark.   They said it was pretty,
at the top, but to quote Newton, "That was the third most stupidest thing he ever did." ha
We will have to wait till later to find out what the first two were.
