I would like to take a moment here and add this... "Trust Your Guide" is not always about participating in some wild and crazy adventure. Many times it is about listening to that little voice inside. We all have it. You just need to practice tuning into it. And learn to trust It! It knows what is best for you. I have to throw in a picture here of one of the many times I am so grateful I listened to that little voice. There was a 5 week old puppy that "came" to me and there was no question that she was the one. She was small, fuzzy, soft and smart and allready filled with love even at that age. She took over my heart so I took her home.
That voice was telling me this IS the one. So here she is 5 years later. Never had a dog before her and always wanted one. This has turned out to be the most amazing experience. I've only been away from her for two days and I miss her and her little games allready. This is a little self-serving I know, and not related to our traveling but I had to post this here for all to see. (Especially YOU DAD HA) I will try to get some pictures up of humans next. Enjoy. Kay
Hi,this is Kay. I created this site so our friends and family can keep up with our adventures. It started with a trip to Europe in 2010 and have been adding to it since. The oldest stories are at the bottom. Newest ones at the top. Scroll along the right side to back track if you like. Have fun and hope you enjoy. Peace and love to all. A little background for you
"TRUST YOUR GUIDE" is a phrase we started using in Costa Rica while traveling with our best friend Wady. (Seen Ziplining on the Right )
He helped us to experience unforgettable, exciting and SOMETIMES scary adventures! Think ATV's straight down STEEP MUDDY mountains in the rain! Anytime we had doubts about what we were about to do we'd look at each other, shake our heads and laugh saying..."trust your guide!" :) His business card reads "Emotion Guaranteed" and that is no exaggeration. Our years in Costa Rica would not be the same had we not met Wady.
